Credit Card Management in SAP

To handle payment transactions via credit card (authorization, settlement, refund), the SAP standard system offers a scenario in the Sales and Distribution module (SD) that must be connected with the clearing house computers. However, this scenario does not support certain business transactions (such as down payment requests). The following scenarios are therefore distinguished below:

Connection Credit Card with SD Scenario:

Classic connection of a clearing house via the adapters provided in the SAP system.

Connection Credit Card without SD Scenario:

To perform payment transactions in the SAP systems without SD, an additional development was implemented, which transfers the relevant credit card information to the FI documents and performs authorization in the standard payment run. This solution is particularly useful if different forms of payment are provided by the customer. Money is collected via the usual accounting transactions and payments by automatic debit or credit card are made in the same transaction. Data is transferred to the clearing house via the standard transaction FCC1 for actual settlement/refund.

Scenario "Connection Saferpay"

Saferpay is a multi clearing house (AMEX, VISA, Mastercard) in German-speaking countries. In this scenario, an encrypted HTTPS connection is established from the SAP system and the payment data transferred.

Scenario "Connection Multiservice / AV Card"

In the North American environment, connection of two clearing houses has been implemented.
Multiservice is a multi clearing house that covers 12 different credit card companies. AV Card is a special provider in the avionics environment. Both connections are made via HTTPS.
