ISO Travel Solutions at ITB 2017

The world's largest tourism trade fair is once more a top date for ISO Travel Solutions. For ITB 2017, the tourism IT company from Nuremberg will present these topics: the latest IATA standards NDC and ONE Order, extended features in the tour operator system Pacific as well as new Internet Booking Engines and large-scale project know-how. ISO Travel Solutions will be at stand 109 in hall 5.1.

ISO travel solutions has added the new IATA standards New Distribution Capability (NDC) and ONE order to its system solutions. In this way all ISO customers can provide flight offers and prices that are more individualized and customized than previously possible. In addition to the reservation systems, the CRM solution Emerald has also been expanded by the new opportunities that NDC offers. As one of only a few providers, ISO offers the combination of reservation system, CRM solution and revenue accounting for airlines – all from a single source. Ideal for those interested in a holistic solution for NDC and ONE order.

Pacific advanced function - particularly in the group module

ISO has extended the features of the group module of its tour operator system Pacific. Thus, special functions for group requests, offers and calculations are now available in addition to a special quota management and a mass rebooking function. For this, inquiries for a group tour are recorded in the system and pre-qualified. Operators can create several individual offers for the inquiries and send them to the group in a well-arranged group offer document with a detailed description of the travel itinerary. The system calculates the prices depending on the group rate and displays them clearly arranged. In order to reduce the workload, every created offer can be turned into a booking with just a few clicks.
New online connections for Pacific have also been created – to Enterprise Car, HBSi Hotel and Opera Web Service – and the interface to SABRE has been expanded.

Internet Booking Engines

ISO has also greatly expanded the application areas of its Internet Booking Engines (IBEs). In the last few months, numerous projects have been carried out, in the course of which many IBEs with different characteristics have emerged – for recreational parks, airlines, package tour operators, cruises and a specialist for a Cuba travels.
In addition to the functions fully focused on vacancy and booking, various special functions have also been created, for example an "Online Check In" page for airlines and the integration with an external Frequent Flyer system.
Another important aspect is the integration of the IBEs with various external payment service providers, while meeting the strict PCI DSS requirements.
The IBEs are suitable for b2c as well as b2b, and are multi-lingual and multi-currency throughout. ISO can thus build individual, customer-specific IBEs or use standardized blocks to configure IBEs in minimum time. The IBE can be incorporated into websites created by third party, or ISO can supply the complete Web page including CMS.

Know-how of large-scale projects

In addition to the wide range of solutions and products that cover the entire tourism lifecycle, ISO is currently providing its more than 40 years of experience as a service provider in software development to several large-scale IT projects, on site at the customer.
