The ISO-Gruppe has been active in the market since 1979 and has since developed into an international IT service provider. For our major customer projects in various industries (e-commerce/airport/airline/tourism), we are looking for a Java Backend Developer (m/f/d) for our cross-product architecture team at the Montréal, Canada location as soon as possible.

You will work in a high profile, innovative corporate environment with highly experienced colleagues. You will design, implement, test and share responsibility for complex applications as well as all related process components. This includes close and competent communication with the customer and colleagues.

Your tasks

Software development activities in a cross-functional team in the tourism industry
Maintain, modernize and further develop the existing Java/JEE product family based on requirements from customer projects
Build new components using modern tools and technologies from the Java environment
Full-stack development with focus on backend and implementation of web-based back-office interfaces (with the option to shift focus to frontend topics if profound knowledge is available)
Support the continuous improvement of development processes and our technology stack

Your profil

A university degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable education with relevant work experience
Professional Java experience in application development in the Java/JEE environment (Spring, Akka, Eclipse, SQL, Hibernate, Spring Boot)
Familiar with configuration management tools (Git) as well as build tools (Maven, Jenkins)
Good English language skills
