Germania Fluggesellschaft relies on Revenue Accounting Software by ISO Software Systeme

Germania Fluggesellschaft has opted for SKYfly Revenue, the revenue accounting software from ISO Software Systeme in Nuremberg. In future, the commercial and charter airline from Berlin will use this system for controlling and accounting its flight coupons in accordance with applicable IATA SIS standards.

The Germania airline, based at Berlin-Tegel airport, will handle revenue accounting using SKYfly Revenue by ISO Software Systeme. For Germania, originally a charter flight business, purchasing a revenue accounting system became necessary because it is both increasingly offering scheduled flights and seeking interline agreements.

After an extensive bidding process and a subsequent offer presentation in Berlin, the system from ISO prevailed as the solution that matches the requirements and offers the best price/performance ratio. In January 2013, the first Sales, Uplift & Refund data will be transferred to the system and the verified/corrected values are automatically forwarded to the financial accounting department. Another topic to be addressed in a subsequent project step is interlining – the settlement between the airlines for interline and codeshare flights (when several carriers “share” a scheduled flight but use different flight number codes for it).

“Thanks to the new SKYfly Revenue system by ISO Software Systeme, we are well prepared for developing and adding ‘sked’ to our company’s distribution channel”, says Claus Altenburg, Head of Revenue Management at Germania Fluggesellschaft.
