Network Administrator (m/f/d)

For our Competence Center Server Administration, we are looking for a Network Administrator (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible at our location in Nuremberg or Würzburg.

Your tasks

• Participate in the operation of ISO Group systems, hosting and housing for major customers, and the application operation of high-availability systems
• Operation of our own data center (switching & load balancing)
• Implementing technical measures and ensuring the availability of individual components and the overall system
• Monitoring the performance of the network components using diagnostic tools (e.g., monitoring tools or in-house developments) and analyzing the causes of any malfunctions
• Planning lifecycle measures and installing and commissioning components

Your profile

• Professional experience in network administration and a good technical understanding of complex network infrastructures
• In-depth knowledge of the independent planning and implementation of individual network components (LAN, WAN, WLAN, routing, switching, firewalling)
• Experience in working with Cisco hardware and basic Cisco configurations (creating specifications, adapting/testing configurations)
• Ideally, initial practical experience with NGFWs (Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto) and SD WAN
• Good knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network design
