Senior Cloud Architect (m/f/d)

Do you want to shape digital transformation and work with cutting-edge cloud technologies? Join the ISO-Gruppe as a Senior Cloud Architect (m/f/d) at our Nuremberg location or work remotely from anywhere in Germany.

Your Tasks

• Design, plan, and implement AWS-based cloud architectures
• Analyze requirements with business units, creating technical concepts and solution proposals.
• Build cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform and bring it into production.
• Continuously optimize existing cloud environments to improve performance, stability, and security.
• Conduct architecture reviews, assess integration and API strategies, and enforce governance standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and DevOps teams, providing technical leadership.

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science, IT, or comparable qualification.
• Deep expertise in AWS services (EKS, EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, and IAM), with an AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• You have strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), as well as solid knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
• Thorough understanding of cloud security, networking, databases, and API security (OAuth, SSO).
• Proven experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, GitLab, Python/Bash scripting, and Jenkins, if applicable), as well as automated infrastructure management.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English, as well as strong presentation abilities.
