Your tasks
- Support and maintain database environments, including single instance, replica set, and sharded clusters
- Continuously develop automation of installation, administration, and patch processes
- Optimize and further develop MongoDB service through continuous service development
- Install, configure, and administer OPS managers for monitoring and management of MongoDB databases
- Be responsible for and implement change and incident management tasks in database operations
- Ensure and optimize the performance, security, and documentation of MongoDB databases
Your profile
- A successfully completed degree in computer science or comparable training with relevant professional experience
- At least three years of experience as a database administrator with a focus on MongoDB
- Practical experience in NoSQL and scripting with Unix
- Practical knowledge of IT service management tools (e.g., BMC Remedy, Service Now), tools in the database environment, and tools in the automation environment (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Rest-API)
- Strong team and communication skills as well as an independent, structured, and reliable way of working
- Very good German and good English skills
