A privacy-compliant IT tool for the new normal
If nothing else, COVID-19 has changed the way people work together. These changes are not limited to the public sector. Processes that, until the end of 2019, could only take place on the government's own premises had to be made remotely feasible from one day to the next.
For creative tasks, web-based whiteboards have been in use in industry for some time, allowing 10, 30 or even 200 people to work together virtually in a creativity room at the same time. However, these brainstorming rooms are mostly cloud-based, which is diametrically opposed to the increased requirements for data protection and processing of personal data, especially for social insurance agencies.
In addition, existing solutions tend to offer a limited number of features to intelligently support the facilitation and execution of meetings. Accessibility aspects are also not considered in existing solutions.
ISO Public Services GmbH is very familiar with these requirements due to decades of cooperation with the public sector. With the agile software development project "Wisedo", the company has therefore set itself the goal of creating a platform that can be operated locally and securely by the data centres of public clients, while at the same time providing the functions required by the working world in the "new normal".
Research grant for digital whiteboard
The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) only awards the BSFZ seal to companies that carry out research and development within the meaning of the German Research Grants Act (Forschungsförderungsgesetz). This includes basic research, industrial research or experimental development. ISO Public Services GmbH has achieved this goal with its "Wisedo" project and the resulting digital whiteboard product.

Collaborate and share ideas with hundreds of people in real time. Visualise complex processes with flowcharts using BPMN, UML or other modelling approaches. Enable people to give feedback and collaborate effectively with intelligent tools such as timers, planning poker and more. And, of course, GDPR-compliant, legally compliant for all public administration institutions.
This has also been recognised by the German Federal Office for Education and Research, which has awarded ISO Public Services GmbH the BSFZ seal.
