Software Developer C++ (m/f/d)

Join our team and put your IT passion to good use as a Software Developer (m/f/d) for C++ in a Linux environment at our Forchheim location. Use agile methods to help further develop new software components for our motion and control software, enabling computer tomographic scanners to improve their performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the further development and design of control software for x-ray-based systems
• Responsible for integrating new software components into the overall architecture
• Create and perform unit and integration tests to ensure software quality
• Improve software performance through parallel processing and the use of multi-threading

Basic Qualifications

• A degree in STEM subjects such as computer science, electrical engineering, information and communication technology, physics or mechatronics
• Sound knowledge of C++ (Standard 14 or higher)
• Experience with Linux operating systems and ideally you have knowledge of QNX
• A good understanding of clean code, SOLID principles, as well as TDD and BDD
• Very good knowledge of English
