Our experienced usability engineers and user experience designers support the customer in various usability-related aspects. We are involved in the entire product development process – from product idea to market readiness.
The usability engineers and user experience designers are part of an innovative and creative team that deals with the concept, design and evaluation of user interfaces in future-oriented applications in medical technology.
Areas of responsibility
- Design of computer-human interfaces for medical products
- Design of user-oriented user interfaces for software applications and hardware
- Analysis of user requirements and needs
- Modeling and communication of requirements to the different stakeholders and contact persons at the customer
- Reviewing ideas and approaches as part of the usability evaluations, e.g. usability tests, walkthrough procedures, heuristic evaluations
- Working in multidisciplinary teams
Within the respective project, our usability experts work independently and decide for themselves as to the methods used for implementing project-specific tasks:
- Context analysis – user research (e.g. field observation), competitor analyses and stakeholder interviews
- Modeling of personas and scenarios
- Creation of user interfaces and interaction concepts
- Prototyping
- Rapid prototyping – paper mockups, click prototypes
- High-fidelity prototyping
- Usability evaluationen
- Visual design
- Documentation according to ISO standards (usability of medical devices and regulatory requirements such as FDA and IEC 62366)
